Candida Vieira Karhausen has been working in the project management field for over 20 years. On top of her graduation as a Social Worker, she obtained post-graduation certifications in Tourism and Business Management. From 1985 to 1996 she undertook several professional and managerial positions in Brazil. Candida moved to Germany in 1997 and her intercultural background facilitated a smooth integration in the German culture. For 2 years she organized global workshops with the topic Climate Change on behalf of an international organization. Until the end of 2005, she managed multinational projects in the automotive supply chain industry.
From 2006 to 2012, being recognised as an interdisciplinary and intercultural management personality with leadership competence at senior and board management levels, she undertook several managerial positions in an international corporation. To identify two examples of Candida’s most recent accomplishments: managing and successfully delivering several complex supply chain projects within a multicultural, multidisciplinary, and multilingual environment throughout the whole project life cycle; designing and delivering regional and global project management workshops in five languages.
Candida combines her sound work experience with academic and professional training. Her graduation in Applied Project Management (2006) was followed by a post-graduation in Business Research at Aston University in the UK (2011) where in October 2011 she became a part-time PhD student.
Candida started her own business as International Interim and Project Manager in March 2013.
